Category: Developer Life Cycle Tool

Description:Integration software firm Xcalia has announced its plans to extend its J2EE-based data access and intermediation capabilities to the .NET Framework. One upcoming product is Xcalia .NET Mapper, which will access .NET components already in use and integrate them with J2EE applications. In addition, a client due for release by the end of the year will allow .NET developers to tap into Xcalia Intermediation Core. XIC maps services with enterprise data and information and sits between the business and data layers to compose applications and execute transactions at runtime. With this new functionality, enterprises that deploy applications on both J2EE and .NET platforms in heterogeneous environments will be able to access data and services across all resources.
