I have a question regarding remote shutdown and automated telnets. I have downloaded various libraries that perform these functions but one that really works requires work from the command line. To run the commands, I open a Windows command window and then type the command. Is there a way to automate this and have VB .NET execute these commands? I have looked everywhere and cannot find anything. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
You have to use the Process and ProcessStartInfo classes from System.Diagnostics namespace. The product documentation as examples on how to pass arguments to the process and control the way the command window is treated (shown, input and output redirection, etc.).
