If you want the behavior where the user sees their own e-mail program pop up and they are responsible for hitting the Send button, you can always use the MAPIMessages ActiveX control that came with Visual Basic 6. If you want to send the e-mail through an SMTP server, without showing the message to the user, you can use the System.Web.Mail.SmtpMail class.
