In C#, how do I add a file HELLO.CS to a solution (.sln file) from the command prompt? I am using Windows XP.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by this question. Adding files to solutions using .NET is just a case of clicking in the solution explorer and adding the file (Add Existing File).
If you are using the command prompt to author C# and compile applications, then place it in the directory of the solution will help before the next step.
Then issue the CSC.EXE command from the C:WINDOWSMICROSOFT.NETFRAMEWORKv1.0.3705 directory with the /ADDMOULE [filelist] where [filelist] should be HELLO.CS.
It's usually better to set the path of the command prompt to include the above directory should you do this a lot. Hope that helps.
