How can I check/null value controls instead of just using 'If' statements?

I have a Web form with over 50 textbox controls and I am running a stored procedure to insert values to the database. Is there a way to check all of the controls for a value or make them null instead of just using a load of IF statements? I am writing this code in VB.NET. Thanks.
Unfortunately, I don't think there's anything you can do other than check them individually.
