I am new to .NET and am developing a system to run on it. We want a client and a doctor to see and converse with each other while filling out a form. Is NetMeeting available on the .NET Framework to develop this application as a .NET application?
.NET does a wonderful job consuming COM components, and since NetMeeting exposes a standard COM interface, it will work just peachy. With Visual Studio .NET, you'll just have to import the NetMeeting COM objects by adding a reference to them in your project. That will create a .NET wrapper class to access NetMeeting so it looks just like a regular .NET class. The .NET interoperability story, called InterOp, works extremely well.
