|.NET User Groups Learning Guide: Southeast|
One of the fastest-growing regions of the United States can boast of active .NET user groups in Florida, the Carolinas and the Nashville area. If we missed any, let us know so our list can grow in turn.
Nashville Visual Studio .NET User Group
Meetings held the second Thursday of every month at 3 Lakeview Place, 22 Century Blvd., Suite 140.
Nashville Area Access/Visual Basic Group
Meetings held third Monday of each month at Total Solutions, 488 Saddle Drive.
Capital Area .NET Users Group
Meetings for the group representing the Washington, DC area are held the third Tuesday of each month at 1900 Gallows Road, Vienna, Va.
Orlando .NET Users Group
This group hosts monthly meetings and other special events in the Orlando area. There's a jobs board on the group Web site as well.
Sarasota .NET Developers Group
Monthly meetings are at the Sarasota Community Foundation, located at 2635 Fruitville Road. The group's home page lists lots of other events, such as Microsoft seminars and other .NET user group meetings.
This group rotates its meetings among Fort Lauderdale, Miramar and Tampa Bay in South Florida.
Gold Coast Users Group
This group, which describes itself as "a 'Community Driven' Microsoft Users Group dedicated to the database, developer and administrator professional," calls Boca Raton home.
Jacksonville Developers User Group
Founded in 2002, this group holds its monthly meetings at the Bank of America building, 9000 Southside Blvd.
Piedmont Triad .NET Users Group
This group serves Greensboro, High Point and Winston-Salem, N.C. It meets on the third Tuesday of each month at Advanced Home Care, 4001 Piedmont Pkwy, High Point.
Enterprise Developers Guild
This Charlotte-based group meets the fourth Tuesday of ever month (except December) in the IT building at Central Piedmont Community College.
Atlanta .NET User Group
This group meets monthly at Microsoft's Atlanta office, 1125 Sanctuary Parkway, Suite 300. In addition, the "Study Groups" section its page points to other .NET user groups in the Atlanta area.
