This is of great help when you need to customize an application for a particular user or environment. No code change or compilation is required --
the only thing you have to do is to edit the app.config file.
For example, to change the caption or title of a form "Products" to "Product Details," you would do the following:
Step 1: In the property window, see dyanamic properties. Under this category, click on the advanced property button. A new window will display. Check the text property, and, in key mapping, type any name or leave as default. Then click OK.
Step 2: Now the text property is displayed under dynamic properties. Click in the button along with text property. Check "map property to a key in configuration file." Click OK.
Step 3: Go to app.config file. You can see the entry
<add key="Form1.Text" value="Products" />. To change the caption, modify the value property to "Product Details" before starting the
application. Any change in the app.config is immediatly reflected in the application.
