We�re not singling out women in this week�s spotlight because we�re feminists or think that women are better than men. But we don�t want to ignore the fact that it�s been a long road for women to get into the technology field. According to a report released in May by the president's Council of Economic Advisors, women comprise 47% of the general workforce, but only 29% of IT jobs are held by women. The sites we found address many of the unique challenges women face and offer advice on how to succeed in the field of IT.
