Tool bringing Word, Excel to Web now supports .NET 2.0

Description: SoftArtisans' OfficeWriter generates Excel spreadsheets and Word documents inside a Web browser window. The resulting documents can leverage the features of Office versions from 1997 to 2003; this includes macros and Visual Basic for Applications.

The latest version of OfficeWriter, v3.5, supports Visual Studio 2005, the .NET Framework 2.0 and SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services. In addition, this version supports System.Collections objects and Java 1.2 collection interfaces and lets Excel users preserve strings in an individual column without affecting cells throughout the spreadsheet.

OfficeWriter comes in Standard and Enterprise editions.
