Intercept Studio now monitors WCF calls, other SOA apps

Description: Intercept Studio provides both performance monitoring and failure tracking for .NET applications. Developers and testers are given both a per-process and system-level view of data pertaining to code errors, connectivity issues, bottlenecks and potential security problems. The product also offers a direct link to MSDN and will automatically search it for data related to detected errors.

The latest edition, v4.1, has expended its monitoring capabilities to include to IBM DB2 data servers and Windows Communication Foundation. The product is also able to check on the dependencies among distributed application components, which the company says caters nicely to SOA environments. In addition, custom reports are now stored on a separate database, which has boosted overall performance.
