Description: Strangeloop's AppScaler is a appliance that sits between an application's servers and load balancers. The device uses a technique the company has dubbed Dynamic Choreography to study an application and then apply real-time caching rules, cache the viewstate and cache session data in the network. This improves the application's performance without changing its code base or underlying infrastructure.

AppScaler is compatible with ASP.NET and ASP.NET AJAX applications. The company said the appliance is a good fit for those applications that use numerous third-party components, which can sometimes hinder the loading of a Web application.
