Description: .TEST, Parasoft's product for testing .NET applications in Visual Studio 2005 or 2003, checks an application's code base for compliance with more than 250 rules and outputs charts that display characteristics such as number of bugs, success of test efforts and code base size.
The latest release the product is v4.0. It introduces the Bug Detective, which goes line by line through a code base to identify areas of possible runtime defects like potential SQL injections, resource leaks and NullReferenceExceptions. This examination can be performed without executing the code. In addition, .TEST 4.0 introduces a code review module through which developers and other users can manage the workflow of a project as it is tested.
