Description: Blendables Essentials is a set of custom WPF controls that plug into the Microsoft Expression Blend tool for Web application designers. The XAML code-behind files for each control can also be opened by developers using Visual Studio. The product provides a "wireframe to build the rest of your applications on," Kurt Brockett, IdentityMine's director of product management, told SearchVB.com in an interview at MIX07.

The product is available as a CTP download and should be shipped sometime this summer, according to Brockett. Controls now available in the suite include a 3D carousel for viewing lists or groups of items, a data-binding control that can make real-time adjustments based on application properties and code evaluation, and drag-and-drop in window elements in ListBox, ListView and TreeView.
