Description: VistaDB is an embedded SQL database engine that provides for the development of managed and typesafe ASP.NET and Windows Forms applications.

The latest edition, V3.0, offers support for Mono, thus allowing for cross-platform database applications, and supports the .NET Compact Framework, thus allowing for the development of apps for mobile devices. In addition, VistaDB now supports SQL Server 2005 data types and views and includes a wizard for Access and SQL Server 2000 migrations.
