Seapine introduces two app management tools

Description: Seapine Software, maker of application lifecycle management products, recently released one new and one updated management tool. Both products will be available later this fall.

Test Track TCM (test case management) is built on Seapine's existing TestTrack client/server architecture. The product lets quality assurance groups plan, execute and manage test processes such as test case creation, scheduling and reporting. Other TestTrack TCM features include collaboration tools, a streamlined process flow, and traceability of all tests.

Surround SCM 5 (software configuration management) aims to give configuration managers and software developers better control over change processes and change policies. Users can attach metadata to individual files, deploy "programmable triggers" within an application and define their own workflows. Updates to V5 include single sign-on support, hyperlink access to files and an improved document check-out.
