Appistry has expanded its Enterprise Application Fabric software can to host the CLR and to support native .NET components that developers can access via the .NET Framework-based language of their choice. A .NET Client API allows managed applications external to the application fabric to be natively integrated with apps running on the Enterprise Application Fabric environment. Appistry middleware converts clusters of commodity into a scalable, fault tolerant execution environment for transactional and service-oriented applications. Based on so-called "Hive computing" concepts, the Appistry fabric allows a collection of computers to be programmed and managed as if they were one system.
