DataDirect database drivers now support MySQL

The company's ODBC and JDBC drivers now support MySQL Enterprise Server with 100% specification compliance.

Description: DataDirect, makers of open database connectivity (ODBC) and Java database connectivity (JDBC) drivers, has announced that its ODBC and JDBC drivers now support MySQL Enterprise Server. This support is available in the following products:

  • DataDirect Connect for ODBC (32-bit access)
  • DataDirect Connect64 for ODBC (64-bit access)
  • DataDirect Connect for JDBC

According to DataDirect, these three drivers are 100% specification compliant for MySQL, so applications that have been coded to ODBC or JDBC specs can leverage MySQL without the need for proprietary extensions.
