Description: With the release of Qt 4, Trolltech Inc. has added Visual Studio .NET integration to its C++ application development framework. Qt lets developers write an application once and use the same code base across operating systems, so VS.NET integration means Windows developers can create apps to run on Unix, Linux and Mac OS platforms. Other new features in Qt 4 include advanced multi-threading capabilities, database integration, XML support and an improved graphics subsystem. Trolltech is offering three editions of Qt 4. The Console version is an all-new edition that is tailored to non-GUI development tasks such as back-end business logic and server software creation. The Desktop Light edition includes the core Qt functionality, while the Desktop version adds enterprise-level features to the Qt core.
