QUESTION POSED ON: 20 July 2004
When installing Visual Studio.NET 2002 on my new Small Business Server 2003, I got this error:

"Visual Studio .NET has a known compatibility issue with this version of Windows and might not run as expected. Active Server Pages (ASP) and FrontPage Server Extensions (FPSE) must be enabled. Visit the following Web page for instructions on how to enable these services: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q329473 For more information, contact Microsoft."

I already visited the Microsoft site and did everything they said I needed to do, but I still get the same message. What can I do to solve this problem?

>
I have not observed this behavior because I have never tried to install Visual Studio .NET on any of my servers. Frankly, I'm not sure this is such a good idea. If you still want to pursue this, my only suggestion is to contact Microsoft for more information.
