How do I (or can I) use Visual Studio.NET to develop with my Access Database? I used the sample on MS.com and I liked it. Now I have it and don't know how to use it. Can you give me some pointers on how to get started?

Using Visual Studio, the best way to get started is by setting up a connection using the Server Explorer (accessible via the View menu or by the short-cut keys Ctrl+Alt+S). Right-click on the Data Connections and select "Add Connection..." This will bring up the Data Link Properties dialog. Select the Provider tab and select the appropriate MS Jet OLE DB Provider. Click Next and you'll be taken to the Connection tab which will allow you to specify the location of your MDB file. Test the connection using the Test Connection button and then click ok. You know will have a node in the Server Explorer that represents your database. You can drag and drop tables, stored procedures and views directly into your project. Doing so in a forms project will generate an OleDbConnection and OleDbAdapter objects. You can use OleDbAdapter objects to generate DataSets (Right-click on the adapter in the designer view and select "Generate Dataset..."). Once you have a DataSet, you can use it as a source for a DataGrid, or any other control that can read a DataSet. If you haven't done so already, I highly recommend reading Microsoft ADO.NET by David Sceppa (ISBN 0735614237).
