QUESTION POSED ON: 14 March 2003
In VB6 I can scan a photo or take a photo using scan COM component, but I cannot seem to figure out how to do this in VB.NET for the imgscan.ocx (Kodak image scan control component). I am using Windows XP.

It is still possible under .NET to use COM objects. Simply move to the toolbox in .NET Studio and select "Customize Toolbox." However, you will note under COM components, the Kodak control is missing under XP.
