When I post the form, the value in my combobox jumps back to the first item

Hello. I have a problem with my combobox for ASP.NET. Every time I post the form on the page, the value in the combobox jumps back to the first item in the item. How do I set it to show the selected item? (By the way, I am using VB to do my Web page.) Thanks!

You are probably reloading the combobox items on each postback. Don't do that in Page_Load or you will effectively lose the current selected item position. You should check for the Page.IsPostBack property before doing so.
