In VB6 there was a file button to convert the code to executable format (.exe). Clicking this button created a standalone version which you could use on your desktop without opening VB6. Is there are similar button in VB.NET? Or do you have to use another method to achieve the same result?
Your solution and all of its projects (unless you tell Visual Studio not to) are compiled into .dlls or .exes every time you run your project.

The exact replacement for the File-->Make xx.exe button is the Visual Studio .NET Build-->Rebuild Solution button.
